Karthik Reddy Gorla

Karthik was born in Nellore, India. He holds a Bachelors degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology ( VIT) . Later, he worked for two years as a Developer and Program Analyst at Cognizant Technology Solutions at Bangalore,India. He received his Masters Degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Computer Engineering on his thesis titled "A Computational Framework to Model and Characterize a Molecular to Electrical Communication Interface based on Redox reactions". He is currently pursuing his Doctorate degree in Computer Engineering. His main research area is in the field of Molecular Communication and Synthetic Biology with a focus on Redox reactions as an interface between Molecular and Electrical domains under the guidance of Dr. Massimiliano Pierobon.
