Shohaib Shaffiey holds a bachelor's degree in biological engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He holds a master's degree in bioinformatics from Johns Hopkins University and a master's degree in computer science from Washington University in St. Louis including a thesis that introduced Bayesian Active Learning to Contrast Sensitivity Functions. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. His current research interests are applying Machine Learning methods to drug delivery systems.
